Each year, thousands of fire service personnel from municipalities and industries participate in intensive week-long training courses that make up the annual spring and summer fire schools. Courses range from basic to advanced levels and are taught by hundreds of instructors, each experienced in specific areas of emergency response.
The annual spring school, conducted in March, features the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Academy (ARFF) as well as Industrial and Rescue courses. The three annual summer schools are conducted on consecutive weeks throughout the month of July.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Grants, vouchers, and even funding application assistance are available for Annual School participants.
Student Safety Requirements
To assist our students and guest instructors in understanding and complying with the TEEX safety requirements we have developed the TEEX Student Safety Manual. This manual is applicable to all TEEX-sponsored training.
Spring/ARFF Fire School
March 2-7, 2008
During the week-long Spring/ARFF fire school, municipal and industrial fire and emergency service personnel choose from classes that offer extensive classroom and/or hands-on instruction. Training can include Firefighting Phase I and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
