The Texas Fire Officer Program is a comprehensive fire officer training program offered by TEEX Emergency Services Training Institute. The program consists of four courses: Fire Officer I, II, III & IV. All classes meet NFPA 1021 training requirements for Pro Board testing and certification.

Command Staff
NFPA 1021 Fire Officer III
NFPA 1021 Fire Officer IV

Certification and Accreditation:
Students successfully completing the Fire Officer I, II, III & IV programs are eligible for Pro Board (NPQS) NFPA 1021 testing and certification. All classes are eligible for American Council on Education (ACE) credit.

Texas Fire Officer Program:
The Texas Fire Officer Training Program is conducted within Texas and is supported with State funds. These courses are offered throughout the State at various locations. There is a small student fee ($150.00 per class).

Texas Certification:
Students completing Fire Officer I & II may also obtain credit from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP). (TCFP currently offers no certification at the Fire Officer III and IV levels.)
