Overview


Each year, thousands of fire service personnel from municipalities and industries participate in intensive week-long training courses that make up the annual spring and summer fire schools. Courses range from basic to advanced levels and are taught by hundreds of instructors, each experienced in specific areas of emergency response.

Spring /ARFF Fire School
March 7-12, 2010


During the week-long Spring/ARFF fire school, municipal and industrial fire and emergency service personnel choose from classes that offer extensive classroom and/or hands-on instruction. Training can include Firefighting Phase I and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).



55th Annual Arson Investigators Seminar
March 21-26, 2010


Attendees will receive up-to-date, cutting edge information and technology that will aid them in the fight against arson in our state. Through top-notch speakers and presenters, attendees will advance their education in the area of fire cause determination, arson investigation and prosecution.



Annual School Vendor Shows


During the Annual School Programs conducted in July, TEEX provides a chance for vendors to reach those students participating. Each vendor show is on the Sunday during student registration before classes start the following Monday.



Escuela en Español
julio 11-16, 2010



Todos los años se organiza esta escuela de una semana de duración durante el verano en College Station, Texas. Más de mil participantes asisten a estos seminarios, incluyendo representantes de los servicios militares y personal de seguridad y bomberos municipales, industriales, estatales y federales. Más de 300 instructores y presentadores, todos con amplia pericia en el tema, ofrecen toda una gama de instrucción tanto teórico como práctico.



Industrial School
July 19-23, 2010


Industrial fire and safety personnel and others interested in industrial fire safety attend this school for one week each summer. Students participate in one of the many courses offered during this week-long program and receive intensive classroom and/or hands-on training.



Municipal School
July 25-31, 2010


Fire prevention, suppression, control and safety personnel from municipalities, industries, state and federal agencies as well as the armed services attend this school for one week each summer. Highly qualified and experienced instructors provide extensive classroom and/or hands-on training.
