The TEEX LNG Program has provided hands-on spill control and fire suppression training to personnel involved in LNG production, transportation, storage, and response activities since 1987. Our first-class training facility in College Station, TX is one of the few locations in the United States where students are given the opportunity to learn about the properties of LNG and how it burns, as well as receive hands-on practice using proven techniques for extinguishing an LNG fire.
The program is aimed at front-line emergency fire supervisors and responders, LNG project coordinators and facility managers who may be faced with an escape of LNG vapor or liquid, though the chances of such an occurrence is low.
"First class course with clear objectives which exceeded my expectations."
"All members of TEEX Team exceptionally helpful."
In 2004, with the support of one of the world’s largest energy companies, BP, we began upgrading the LNG training area and curriculum. The existing LNG training prop was removed and a four-phased construction project began. The final touches were completed in April 2006. Click here for more details.
