Strategic Command Simulator

TEEX and the Houston Fire Department have joined together to offer the Strategic Command Simulator course. This course is delivered entirely using the Houston Fire Department Strategic Simulator.

The Simulator is designed to train Incident Commanders on strategic level decision-making. It was developed to replicate multi-company training drills without the cost or manpower needs of the drills.

It provides an interactive hands-on experience including:

• Multiple Incident Sizes
  
• Incident Priority Reviews
  
• Incident Command Training
  
• Communications Training

It can actively engage up to 8 individuals to mitigate an incident using:

• Custom Video Technology
  
• Audio Cues
  
• Realistic Training Environment
  
• Special Effects

The Strategic Simulator provides distress factors transferable to the real-life incidents.

Real-time driving to the incident allows for initial scene expectations based on visual cues.

The simulation can be customized to use your:

• Buildings
  
• Command Vehicles
  
• Instructors
  
• Communication Standards
  
• Equipment (strategic worksheets)

TEEX Registration
To expedite the TEEX registration process and to omit spelling errors on certificates, please complete the online TEEX registration form. Enter the appropriate information (do not fill out the class selections - you will receive further instructions upon arrival at registration). Print, sign & date, and bring the completed form to the course/school you are attending.
