As part of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC), TEEX offers special courses funded by the Homeland Security National Training Program Cooperative Agreement.

We provide selected DHS-FEMA funded courses year-round at approved client locations - across the United States and its territories. Qualified organizations / jurisdictions may receive these courses at no cost. In addition, we deliver selected National Fire Academy NIMS / ICS / Terrorism courses to departments across Texas.

Audience

Hands-on, scenario-driven WMD training and exercises are used to prepare the following disciplines for terrorist attacks and other hazardous incidents:

  • Fire Service
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
  • Law Enforcement
  • Public Health
  • Public Works
  • Emergency Management
  • Government/Administrative
  • Private Sector (if invited by the host jurisdiction)
  • Federal/Military (if invited by the host jurisdiction)
  • County, state, and federal agency personnel who will respond with a local jurisdiction during a WMD/terrorism incident
