  • In FY 2009, TEEX served more than 195,000 people through training and technical assistance, for a total of 2.8 million contact hours.

  • TEEX programs attracted participants from all 50 states, five U.S. territories, the District of Columbia, and 62 countries during FY 2009.

  • TEEX programs serve private industry, municipalities and public agencies through more than 5,400 classes annually.

  • TEEX impacted 86 percent of the communities in Texas by training participants from 1,309 of the state's 1,523 communities.

  • TEEX instructors travel more than 1.6 million miles each year to offer on-site training and services to customers in every corner of the state.

  • For every dollar of state general revenue TEEX received in FY 2009, the agency generated $14.

  • TEEX's budget for FY 2010 is $83.1 million.

  • TEEX is headquartered in College Station, but conducts classes at TEEX facilities and customer locations across the state, the nation and the world.

  • TEEX is a member of The Texas A&M University System and the Texas A&M Engineering Program.
