Course Description
ASP201 - Advanced Exterior Firefighter, Level II - 36.00 Hours
Prerequisites
RECOMMENDATION: NFPA 1081 Exterior Firefigting for Industrial Brigades or equal training. Also, requires the Fire Chief/Training Officer's signature on the prerequisite verification section on registration form.Description
The advanced Tactical Operations course places emphasis on advanced tactical activities required to safely operate in a manner that maximizes the efficiency of firefighting operations within the realm of available resources. Emphasis will be placed on building high performance teams, reading fire-ground factors, utilizing master streams to minimize personnel exposures, and increasing operational efficiency.
Hands-on and practical exercises will be performed by utilizing various firefighting projects.

Students should bring the same type of clothing as worn on normal duty at their plant, including bunker gear which is NFPA 1971 compliant.
Class Hours:
- Mon - Wed: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m.

A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline for the Annual Fire Training School classes.
