Course Description


ASP243 - Enhanced NIMS 300 & 400 - 36.00 Hours

Prerequisites

ICS 100 & 200 and 700 & 800. Prerequisite verification required.

Description

This course is in accordance with the National Incident Management System Integration Center’s National Standard Curriculum: Training Development Guidance document. It provides training for Industrial Fire Service personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course uses the Command and General Staff Functions for Local Incident Management Team curriculum. This course meets the requirements for ICS300 and ICS400.

    Audience

    The target audience for this course is senior industrial fire service personnel who are expected to perform in a manager capacity in an area command or multiagency coordination entity.

    Course Limit: 30 students

    Class times:
    Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    Friday: 7:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

    PPE Requirement: Level 0

    Students should bring the same type of clothing as worn on normal duty at their plant, including bunker gear which is NFPA 1971 compliant.

    A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline for the Annual Fire School classes.
