In this 20-hour course, you will learn about environmental concepts of biological treatments, oxidation ponds and waste stabilization lagoons, trickling filters, rotating biological contractors, activated sludge and activated sludge process variations, and anaerobic digestion and its composition.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued 20 hours of training credit toward wastewater certification by the TCEQ.
Anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of the biological processes involved in the wastewater treatment processes.
