WWW202 - Confined Space Entry - 20.00 Hours

Pre-Registation ONLY. Course enrollment is limited to 16 participants on a first come, first serve basis.

EUThe course provides training in the proper procedures for entering a confined space to entry-level and experienced water and wastewater treatment plant operators, water distribution personnel, and wastewater collection system personnel.

The course trains participants in the proper procedures for determining if a space is entry permit required or non-permitted. The course trains participants in the procedures for testing potential atmospheric hazards within a confined space. The course also trains participants in the proper hands-on application of personal protective equipment, applicable safety equipment, non-entry retrieval equipment to safely perform work within a confined space, as well as how to successfully exit a confined space unharmed.

TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued 20 hours training credit toward Water and Wastewater Operators and Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers.

NOTE: Participant should possess reasonable reading, comprehension and motor skills. General knowledge of personal medical limitations.
