Course Description


WWW203 - Pump and Motor Maintenance - 20.00 Hours

None.

Description

Learn about scheduling and planning maintenance work, how to maintain a budget and how to use cost control methods effectively. You will be trained on the installation of pumps and the types, uses and maintenance of pumps. The types, uses and maintenance of motors, lubricants and lubrication will also be discussed. Hand tools, bearings, power transmission and safety will be taught throughout this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, TCEQ will issue you:

  • 20 hours of water training credit
  • 20 hours of wastewater training credit

TEEX is authorized by International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to offer 2.0 CEUs for this program.
