Course Description


IND014 - NFPA 472, Annex E, Flammable Liquids Bulk Storage Specialty - 24.00 Hours

Prerequisites

If you would like certification you must provide proof by the end of the class that you are trained to NFPA 472 Hazmat Technician or above is a requirement. We are no longer accepting 29 CFR 1910.120(q) without the course syllabus outlining exact course content and it must meet NFPA 472 Hazmat Technician. You can provide a certificate or a transcript from an accredited agency that lists successful completion of Hazmat Technician or above level or training. This proof must be dated prior to the last day of class.

Description

This course provides emergency response personnel with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to safely resolve an emergency in a variety of bulk storage structures found in a plant facility. Through field exercises, students will gain confidence in their abilities to handle a variety of emergency situations.

All emergency response personnel, including fire prevention, suppression, control and safety personnel.

**INDUSTRIAL PROGRAM**
Course will begin at 8:00am on the first day of class.
Bunker gear is required and must be NFPA 1971 compliant.

Go to www.teex.com/firesafety to read details in the TEEX Student Safety Manual. All students are required to follow this manual at all times.
Students should bring the same type of clothing as worn on normal duty at their plant, including bunker gear which is NFPA 1971 compliant..

Class Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

A late fee of $50.00 will be assessed to payments made after the registration deadline for the Annual Fire School classes.
