EPP310 - Diversified Electrical Metering Technology - 32.00 Hours

None.

Description

NOTE: In order to register for this course, you must fill out and submit a Fax-Back Sheet on which you have selected training topics from Courses 1 - 4. For more information, contact Customer Care Center at 800-723-3811.

This SWEMA Texas Meter School course is designed to provide experienced metering personnel an opportunity to select the training topics to meet their individual training needs. Select training topics from Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4 (EPP301, EPP303, EPP305, and EPP307) of the SWEMA Texas Meter School. This course is limited to the first 25 people to register. TEEX is authorized by IACET to offer 2.3 CEUs for this program.

  • EPP301 - Introduction to Electrical Metering (Course 1)
  • EPP303 - Advanced Electrical Metering (Course 2)
  • EPP305 - Complex Electrical Metering Technology (Course 3)
  • EPP307 - National Generation\Transmission Metering (Course 4)

Audience

Experienced Meter Technicians who need refresher and/or updated training.

Other Information

Depending on topics chosen, participants may need the following personal protective equipment to participate in hands-on activities:

  • Safety glasses
  • Hard hats
  • ASTM Class 0 rubber gloves with leather outer gloves

Design Your Own Curriculum: The participant selects the topics he/she would like to attend from the curriculum of the following courses conducted during the annual Southwest Electrical Metering Association (SWEMA) Texas Meter School: Introduction to Electrical Metering, Advanced Electrical Metering, Complex Electrical Metering Technology, and National Generation\Transmission Metering. Each participant receives customized curriculum that will be designed to benefit them personally. Objectives will be determined by the topics the participants select. In this way, this course is tailored to meet the specific needs of the learner.
