MST810 - MSHA Part 48 Subpart B Surface Annual Refresher Mining Class - 8.00 Hours

New Miner Training (TEEX or non-TEEX)

Description

MSHA Part 48 Subpart B Annual 8 hour refresher classes for miners and mine contractors.

Topics

The annual refresher training program for experienced miners shall include the following:

Introduction to Work Envrionment

Mandatory Health and Safety Sounds

Authority and Responsibility of supervisors and miners' representatives

Entering and leaving the mine, transportation, communications

Mine map;escapeways;emergency evacuation;barricading

Roof or ground control and ventilation

Hazard Recognition

Prevention of accidents

Emergency Medical Procedures

Health

Health and Safety Aspect of the Task

Self Rescue & Repiratory Devices
