TEEX / ISSEE offer this 5 day course is to provide the student with the knowledge required to recover evidence from a scene, working to multi-agency working practices. On successful completion of the course the individual will receive a TEEX / ISSEE and City & Guilds certification. Students will have either completed the ISSEE Explosive Foundation Course or will have demonstrated relevant prior learning. At the end of the course the student will be able to demonstrate an understanding and recognition of component parts of a device and blast effects. In addition to forensic recovery equipment, its use and forensic recovery recording and documentation, a multi-agency approach to forensic scene recovery and crime scene investigation will be covered. The principles of DNA collection, packaging methods and contamination issues will be also covered.
