Course Description


FSA104 - Latent Print Processing - 40.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Participants must be licensed or certified peace officers with a current commission or non-commissioned personnel assigned to investigate/process crime scenes.

Description

The Latent Print Processing course provides participants with information, techniques, and methodologies for processing latent fingerprints and enhancing visible fingerprints at and from crime scenes, as well as from physical evidence. Course instruction is through lecture and practical laboratory application.

    Participant activities involve powders and chemicals: participants are encouraged to wear older, comfortable clothing.
