Course Description


LET570 - Radar Instructor Course - 40.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Participants must be currently certified in the use of Doppler RADAR.

Required Materials
Participants should bring a RADAR unit receiver, antenna(s), tuning forks and instruction booklet for the unit.

Description

Participants will receive instructor level training for the proper facilitation of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Doppler RADAR course. A lesson plan, electronic slide presentation, and student manual are provided to each participant for use during and after this course.

    Audience

    Participants should be currently commissioned peace officers.
