LET705 - Reality Based Training Instructor - 40.00 Hours

Prerequisites

Required Equipment
  • duty belt
  • coveralls or long seeve shirt
  • groin protection
  • protective gear for use with projectile based training
  • inert chemical agent
  • training batons
  • writing instruments and a straight edge ruler

    Description

    The 40 hour Reality Based Training Instructor course is designed to teach students how to safely design and implement scenario based training in their agency. It leads the students through the development process and the building of a scenario training plan. Students will leave this course with several training scenarios that they will be able to take back to their agencies to immediately utilize.

    Audience

    Participants should be currently commissioned peace officers, licensed security officers or public safety trainers.
