SSS100 - PPCT Disruptive Student Management - 8.00 Hours

Description

This course is designed to control the "physical actions" of student violence. This course does not explore the psychology of violence or the socioeconomic or family issues that lead to violence. Instead, the course focuses on controlling actions of physical violence directed at another student, a teacher, or another staff member. The course is segmented into skills that are designed to control small children who are acting out all the way through techniques designed to control teenagers who are fighting or have assulted a teacher.

    Audience

    This training is appropriate for teachers, school administrators, school-based police officers, and security personnel. Physical participation is required. Participants should wear comfortable clothing for physical activity.
